The session was presented by Ricart Lluís Mir, founder and CEO of INNGERA, and featured a contribution from David Martí, founder and CEO of Catalunya Business School, who announced the launch of a new postgraduate program focused on industrial innovation, in collaboration with Girona NEXT. Jordi Garcia Brustenga, General Director of Industrial Strategy and SMEs at the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, also shared a video highlighting the importance of competitiveness and resilience in industrial companies, as well as the new Industry Law being developed by the Ministry to promote reindustrialization and attract strategic investments, among other goals.

Aligned with this vision, INDPULS emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration between industrial companies, as well as with startups, with the dual goal of boosting their competitiveness and securing their future, while also strengthening the industrial fabric in Catalonia.

Sharing challenges related to digitalization and sustainability in the industrial sector, creating a trusted space for knowledge and experience exchange, and—most importantly—ensuring the commitment and involvement of top management, are some of the keys to successful collaboration among companies associated with INDPULS.

During the roundtable, moderated by Sílvia Palomé, Business Development Director at EURECAT, participants stressed the need to strengthen and expand the industrial startup ecosystem in Catalonia. This includes fostering collaboration with the existing industrial fabric and attracting patient capital aimed at deep-tech projects. The high quality of tech companies and local talent was recognized, and the importance of believing in local potential and prioritizing collaboration among regional companies at all levels was underlined.
