Penedès Summit: Strategy and Innovation with D.O.

On September 16 and 17, 2025, INDPULS is organizing the Penedès Summit “Strategy and Innovation with D.O.”, an exclusive gathering for innovation and business development executives that will bring together some of the most prominent names in strategy and innovation at Masia Vallformosa.

The first day will kick off with a keynote by David Alayón, Chief Executive Officer at Innuba and expert in innovation and disruptive technologies, who will speak on “Leading Innovation in the Age of Disruption.” Afterwards, participants will share challenges and experiences before diving into a session on innovation models and methodologies with Agata Gelabertó, Head of Innovation and New Business at Idilia, Pere Camprovin, Director of Open Innovation at Fluidra, and Clara Guasch, Director of Girbau Lab.

In the afternoon, there will be a roundtable on organization and governance featuring Anna Casals, Director of Innovation at Celsa Group, Jordi Sahún, Director of Innovation at Comexi, and Jordi Corral, Director of Innovation at Roca, moderated by Isabel Nogueroles, expert in leadership and organizational change. To close the day, Henry Chesbrough, Professor at the Haas School of Business (Berkeley) and regarded as the father of the concept of open innovation, will deliver a session on the role of artificial intelligence in open innovation.

The second day will focus on future challenges. Albert Esplugas, Head of AI Product Marketing at Amazon Web Services, will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on processes, the workplace, and corporate culture, using Amazon as a guiding case study. Next, Felip Vidiella, Director of Innovation at Dow Chemical, will share his experience managing innovation within a global chemical company. Finally, Xavier Marcet, President of Sarah Marlex and consultant in strategy and innovation, will speak on Innovation and Next Level Management, inspiring attendees to rethink business leadership in a changing environment.
