INDPULS is created with the ambition of being the new collaborative innovation space<\/strong>  between industrial companies and startups with the aim of generating corporate value and enhancing the industrial innovation ecosystem. These first months of his career have been intense and exciting, and before closing the year, we wanted to talk to Merc\u00e8 Girbau,<\/strong> president of INDPULS, and Xavier Marcet<\/strong> , president of Lead To Change, strategic partner of the association, to share reflections, challenges and views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\t

Merc\u00e8 Girbau,\u00a0<\/strong>president of INDPULS\u00a0<\/strong>and CEO of Girbau Group, remembers the beginnings of the constitution and the contribution of the association in the industrial ecosystem, from its more business perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is not yet a year since the meeting with the CEOs of the founding companies of INDPULS, in which we decided to go ahead with the creation of the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the first moment, I was very pleasantly surprised by the interest of the CEOs in actively participating. Although, from the beginning, it had focused on the people who lead innovation in each of the companies, the CEOs also showed a great desire to have their say, to be aware of the activities, ‘contribute and connect with other CEOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, we realized that some of the activities we organized were more focused on other areas of our organizations. For example, the challenge we chose, on simulation and prediction capacity, each company has specified in different areas and therefore we have opened INDPULS to new areas of our companies and to new people, dedicated to digital transformation, to new business, to operations…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same has happened when we have held meetings with companies, which, beyond the innovation activity, have been interesting for other areas. For example, Communication in the case of AVINENT, to see the spectacular experience center; o Operations to learn from SIMON’s Olot factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, innovation must be present in all areas of our businesses and organizations, and we see INDPULS as an open space, a forum space for the different organizational areas, where you can share, exchange, be inspired or solve own challenges, in an environment of trust, collaboration and generosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The big challenges we face in the industry can only be solved by innovating and collaborating, and INDPULS helps us with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\t

Innovating is difficult, but the future is with us. Talking about innovation is easy. The challenge is always the same. The challenge is the impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We innovate because we want to be consistent, evolving with our customers comes first. It’s not just about bringing new things to customers, it’s about us doing it at a time when customers are ready to absorb the future we’re bringing to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation has a lot to do with our ability to observe our customers and the world that moves around our customers. Make proposals to solve, in new ways, problems, needs or aspirations. And in this process of making proposals, having an open context to inspire us, share concerns with others, get to know experiences, learn from each other, is very positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INDPULS is that, to create a context of inspiration for action. The decisions, the projects are everyone’s, but the inspiration is shared. Inspiration to create new solutions, but also inspiration to know how to involve the whole company in the innovation process. Innovation that gives results is not the result of creativity alone, it is the result of internal complicity in companies.
