On June 18th, INDPULS had the opportunity to take part in the Elisava Talent Day 2025, an event held as part of the closing activities for the Design and Innovation degrees, and especially the Industrial Design Engineering degree. The event took place at espai de les Tres Xemeneies, in the Besòs neighborhood, a symbolic setting that reflects the fusion of industrial heritage with new technological and creative development proposals. This location, transformed into a hub of audiovisual and technological innovation, became the ideal context to showcase Elisava’s emerging talent.
Innovation with a solid technical foundation
Throughout the day, more than 400 academic projects were presented, including Final Degree and Master’s Thesis works. Many of these projects demonstrated remarkable analytical, prototyping and technical problem-solving skills applied to real challenges. For example, we highlight an optimized filtering system for manufacturing dental prostheses, as well as a biological light bulb powered by marine algae, capable of generating light without conventional electricity. These works exemplify the students’ ability to link engineering criteria with sustainable, high-impact solutions.
Visiting the different exhibition areas made it possible to appreciate not only the technical quality of the projects but also the maturity with which comprehensive solutions are proposed in fields such as product design, industrial processes and advanced materials.
INDPULS presence: strategic ties with young talent
With the aim of integrating into Elisava’s talent and innovation ecosystem, INDPULS set up an information stand to present the association and its industrial partners, the services we offer and the collaborative innovation initiatives we promote to foster connections between companies and emerging talent.
The event generated notable interest from students, especially those with a technical profile and an orientation towards applied innovation. This interaction reaffirms our commitment to continue opening channels between academia and the business network to facilitate the transition from education to professional practice.
Towards sustained collaboration
One of the most positive aspects of the day was the first contact with Elisava’s academic internship and job placement staff. This meeting laid the groundwork for starting a stable collaboration that will allow, in the near future, to offer internships, develop joint projects and even incorporate talent into the companies associated with INDPULS.
This strategic first step paves the way for an ongoing relationship with an institution that trains highly qualified professionals in areas that are key to the competitiveness of the industrial sector.
Acknowledgements and vision for the future
We sincerely thank the Elisava organizing team for the invitation and the warm welcome we received throughout the event. We feel very aligned with the values the institution promotes: innovation, technical rigor and a commitment to sustainable development.
