Pack2Earth and Muutech selected to participate in the Boston Seminary 2025 | INDPULS

Last Friday, September 20, we celebrated the closing of the second edition of the startup support program ‘ACCELERATE YOUR GO TO MARKET,‘ organized by INDPULS, with a plenary session that brought together the 10 participating startups and representatives from the industrial companies associated with INDPULS.

The INDPULS Startup Support Program’s mission is to contribute to the growth of startups within the industrial innovation ecosystem and to identify collaboration opportunities between startups and industrial companies to accelerate the development of both. In this edition, the challenges focused on Circularity, New Materials, and Traceability, three key areas for promoting sustainability and efficiency in the industry.

Innovation through Collaboration: Success stories from the program.

During the program’s closing, two success stories were presented, showcasing collaborations that emerged between startups and INDPULS companies as a result of the program’s first edition.

One success story is the collaboration between Girbau and the startup BitMetrics, which began as a pilot project during the program’s first edition and has now reached the market. Mar Masulli, co-founder and CEO of BitMetrics, and Jaume Simonet, R&D director of Girbau, shared their experience.

We also heard from Eduard Aran, founder and CEO of Valerdat: “Thanks to the INDPULS Startup Program, we have met with 8 industrial companies, and we are now in advanced talks with three of them to start collaborations.”

MUUTECH and PACK2EARTH were selected to participate in the Boston Seminary 2025.

Esteban Brecha, president of INDPULS, announced that Pack2Earth and Muutech have been the two startups selected to participate in the Boston Seminary 2025 on Strategy, Growth, and Innovation, organized by Lead to Change.

• MUUTECH MONITORING SOLUTIONS has developed Minerva, a monitoring platform designed for industrial data analysis. This tool helps companies reduce energy and water consumption, improving production efficiency.

• PACK2EARTH is a pioneer in creating biomaterials that are compostable at room temperature. They offer a flexible film and an injection molding material suitable for manufacturing packaging for dry, semi-liquid, and long-lasting liquid products.

‘The Keys to a Startup’s Success’ by Xavier Marcet

The session concluded with an inspiring talk by Xavier Marcet, president of Lead to Change, who emphasized the importance of focusing on the true value of your business. Marcet says, “The key is having the ability to focus and effectively convey value; from there, more opportunities will open up.” He highlighted the crucial difference between simplicity and ease, noting that, although they are often confused, they are not the same: “Achieving simplicity is achieving the most difficult thing.”

Marcet also shared the 12 key moments that, according to him, are fundamental for business success:

1. Sell, sell, and sell: You don’t live by creating opportunities, you live by closing and sharing them. The important thing is not to try to sell but to do it.
2. Hire the right people: The team is key to growth. You can make a mistake with technology and fix it, but not with people. The strategy is the people.
3. Decide what NOT to do: Focus on the fields you want to play in, define priorities, and let go of what doesn’t add value.
4. Innovate: Always stay half a step ahead.
5. Delegate and empower: Trust the team to take on responsibilities.
6. Set an appropriate pricing policy: Know how to value what you offer.
7. Build a community: Foster a strong network of support and loyal customers.
8. Manage cash flow: Keep control of resources. Know what will happen in three months to make good decisions.
9. Have tough conversations: Face challenges, looking for a win-win outcome.
10. Think about the legacy you want to leave: Have a long-term vision beyond immediate profits.
11. Find time to learn: Continue growing personally and professionally.

12. Exert influence in a complex environment: Know how to navigate changing and complex environments while seizing opportunities.
